What makes it even funnier for me is that, when my father grew up in New Brunswick, he had a childhood friend named Jerry, who also happened to be Jewish. As it turned out, Jerry was no good at baseball, or stickball, or some other stereotypically 1950's city-dwelling childhood activity, and was often taunted as "Jerry the Jew Boy". good times.
